Musings from the Island!

In May of 2005, Rick made a big change in our lives by taking the job of Kodiak Island Borough Manager. He moved to Kodiak while I stayed in Seward until September to run the B&B and get ready to sell our house.
I was able to visit several times and take some pictures of this beautiful and differse island .

I have now been here for one year. It continues to show off Mother Nature's imagination. And.....I have been able to Semi-Retire. Which means I now substitute for the school instead of working there full time...I could actually substitute full time, but when enough is enough or I want to go with Rick on one of his trips, I just say, "No".
Now I can spend time visiting our kids, going to new places and taking cute pictures of my cute grandsons.
